First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my work. It really means a lot. I would love to write a sequel, and I do hope that’s in my future. Meanwhile, Lindsay, two books you might enjoy are in the FLIRT line. They are written by “Nicole Clarke” but that’s what we call “a house name.” It means that a bunch of different authors write the books in the line,so we are ALL Nicole Clarke. I wrote FLIRT: SPIN CITY and FLIRT: VIPs. You can google ‘em. My favorite character in them is Kiyoko Katsuda. I lived in Japan for three years, and I love anime and manga. So Kiyoko was “me.”

okay, i bought this book 2 days ago and im already done with it. I spent my new years in bed reading it, it was AMAZING. at first i thought it was just some teenage girly book. then came in the cut up horse. I Loved it. You should write a sequal. And, i just found out that you write buffy books? Wow. Thats my fave show and its really good to know that someone thats such a great writer is writing books for my fave show. I think its really cool.

This was a great book. I usually don’t like to read but i was in the book store and the red cover caught my eye so i read a lil bit of it then the day after christmas i bought it. It only took me 3 days to read. I really think you should write a squal to this book. I would DEFANTLY read it.

I wish I could send autographed books through the mail but because of 9/11, I can no longer send anything that weighs more than a pound without going to the post office. And the post office is a long drive. So this is my solution.

I was a huge fan of Buffy and I had all the books you had written in the Buffy series so when I came across this book and saw your name on it I had to buy it. Since I’m 21 now and a soon to be college graduate I don’t usually pick up books like this anymore, but let me tell you–you did not disappoint. At first I thought it was just going to be some little high school novel–typical young adult romance but the whole killer thing threw me off. I loved it! I work with middle school kids and I already got a few of them reading it. Thanks for the twists! Keep writing! :]

When I got this book and started to read i couldn’t put it down…i finished it in about 3 hours… i really hope you make a sequal!! im sure every person who read this book is dieing to read the sequal..I do find it sad when the 3 people die and 2 animals but thats what makes the story. Pretty Little Devils is one of my all time favorites! But you HAVE to write a sequel because the books ending was so good (marketabley, so if it didn’t sell well you didn’t have to write a sequel but if it did you still had an option on wether or not you wanted to write a sequel but anyway) that you it deserves a follow-up! Pretty Little Devils is my FAVORITE book ever. It was SO intense. Kay, I SO want there to be a movie of it, I wanted that so bad I even started a little skit fer the highschool drama club. ahahah. Wow. That’s all I can say. This book was amazing. No human words can describe how well written “Pretty Little Devils” is. It was one of the most amazing books i have ever read. I couldn’t put it down, not once. I read it all in one sitting, and if the rumors are true that you are writing a sequal, I cant wait to find out what happened to Lakshmi and Ellen. Hazel is an interesting character. I like her alot, although I like all of the characters, even Ellen! Ellen is diverse, shes different, and strange. She has a different personality, unlike any of the other PLDs. She is strong-willed and she doesnt let Sylvia control her like a puppet. She a true individual, which is what I thonk makes her a danger person, a threat if you will. Sorry for the novel-comment I am writing. but i just want to say thank you and do continue to write for you are very talented

I think that if you were to make a movie, Robert Schneider, the cute boy from The Princess Diaries with the cute brown hair and eyes. He has a band now called “Rooney” and he is the 1st person that came to mind when I read the description of Matty Vaurdeman. Nancy, please consider this. Dear Nancy,
I have come across your book at Barnes & Noble and the cover (bright pink & devil’s tail) and title had me curious. I opened the book and read chapter 2. I was supposed to buy a Spider-Man coloring book for my little son, and I just got into the book and purchased it.
I will say that this was a cool book to read. I never thought that “THAT PERSON” was the killer. All I can say was WOW!
More power to you. And I hope you do write a sequel…or perhaps even turn this into a Series. It’s great. And this is coming from a parent in his early 30s.
I used to like reading those FEAR books and similar horror books for young adult back when I was a kid. Your take is refreshing and entertaining.

I knew who the killer was when The Killer texted her boyfriend he would of asked who it was. then at the end when the text message talked beware that she was back and also I love cliff hangers so u have to make a sequel and then a third one

Hey there!!
I, like many others am not too keen on reading and even if you ask my parents, they would say the same. My english teacher had bought the book and i always borrow books to read in class for SSR. Usually i go through many books, until i came to “Pretty Little Devils.” This book was so hard to put down. I have been reading this book for about a week now and i love it! I always get into class early to avoid anyone stealing it from my grasp. I am even thinking of asking my teacher to lend me this book. I love the style and genre of the book. Basing a book on teenage life can really make the readers step inside the shoes of the character, which is what this book made me do. I enjoy reading it ( although i haven’t finished yet) and i am looking forward to discovering what happens in the end and finding out who the murderer is.
I just want to say, once again, well done on making such a great book that has been a great hit! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries and teenage books. It really has you wanting more.

I’m just writing to say I loved this book! You probably hear this from everyone, but it was just soooo captivating. I read it in two days. I was so sad when it was over. I think you should write a sequel because a lot of people would read it and it’s so interesting. One of the reasons I love it so much is because it reminds me of another book series I love called Pretty Little Liars. But, your book is even better because, the content is just more active in my opinion. So, thank you for writing this book and please write a sequel.

I absolutely loved this book! I had to do a project for my english class and it was the perfect book for my topic! I was thinking a sequel would be great if you wrote about maybe Sylvia in juvenile hall and maybe her life when she gets out or when she goes back to Brookhaven (if she ever does). I think it could be just as good as pretty little devils. I also loved how intense the book was and again it was great, definitely one of the best books i’ve ever read!! Please write a sequel!!!!

Me and my friend went to the bookstore the other day and this book caught my eye. I read the back of it and I knew I had to get it. As soon as I read the first sentence, I couldn’t put it down! It was perfect. You’re one of my favorite authors now. I love to write and someday I hope to become as great as you are. =] I know everyone on here has told you that they want a sequel and you’re probably sick of hearing it, but I really want a sequel too! The ending was so unpredictable and I love all the suspense. I couldn’t read this book at night, because I got so scared from it. I wish I could find more words to describe just how great this was, but I can’t. Well done!

omg…I really loved this book. I read it a while ago, probably in like March, but one of my friends just read it and I was looking for a quote that I could give her and I saw this site. I actually read this book after my friend came in exhausted one day and told me how she had stayed up all night to read this awesome book. I, being the big reader that I am, asked her if I could borrow it. She let me and I immediately got so interested that I read it in only one night. I finally finished at one in the morning! I really hope you write a sequel ’cause I absolutely loved it. I am happy to say that almost all of my friends have read it and a bunch of other people in my school have too. They all thought it was great!
I’m actually working on my own book, its a fantasy, but I don’t think it will be nearly as good as Pretty Little Devils…and thats IF I can ever get it published. lol
Please please please write a sequel. I am DYING for more.

this is actually the second book ive finished. i usually just read the first couple pages and get bored with it. for this book, i couldnt put it down. i read it in less than i day, and when i had to put it down, i kept thinking of who could be the killer. the ending was great and this book is amazing.

Dear nancy, i just finished ur book and i absolutley love it. i had no idea it was going to be a some what horror novel, i thought it was going to be like mean girls, gossip girl, the in or out series, and the clique series. This type of book is so much better than those though. its so suspensful and just amazing lol. The ending however puzzled me and and the second time i read it (i read it twice in one day) the ending frustrated me. i have so many questions in mind about it, like did the killer ever get caught? and why does he/she (i dont want to give away the killer to readers who have not read it by implying the killers gender) kill thier victims? and whats their motive for it? ive read over a lot of the other comments and noticed that alot of fans would like to see a sequel, i cant help but agree with them. so many questions are lingering in my head and its very frustrating lol. i must add that the whole book took me by surpise bc i thought the killer was going to be someone entirely different. usually im really good at predicting what happens in these types of things. i also must add that i agree about making this into a movie, it would make an amazing teen horror film. and everyone knows that hollywood needs a good horror teen film these days (there havent really been ne good ones in my opinion, they r all so predictable lol). Btw as i was googling this book i couldnt help but stumble across some of ur other works like buffy the vampire slayer, i must say im impressed by this bc growing up that was my favorite tv show. i have yet to read ur novel versions of them though, they are on my summer reading list now lol. well i have to go but as i said before i absolutley love the book and please write a sequel. also if u could would u mind sending me an email on how u got inspired to write this book? im only 17 but ive been trying to write a novel for years, howver i can never finish them. thanx so much.

OMG i see i am not the only one totally in love with this book! lol. Anyways i read it when i was in Alaska a summer or two ago but i have read it so many times since then! i read it in a day because i just couldnt put it down (i even got in trouble lol)! so like everyone else i was just hoping there would be a sequel and it would totally make an amazing movie! i think that Kristen Bell would be good for it. and Steven Strait. total hottie from The Covenant (movie). sorry this is soooooooo long but i totally love it.

I LOVED this book. I was doing this stupid reading thing so i read the first 20 pages and i didn’t even get to read the book bc i had to keep filling in my “reading log” it finally ended and i really wanted to finish the book, so i pick it up and start reading 1 hour passes and Im on page 120, I read for like 2 days straight, I never read a book so fast in my life! At first i bought the book thinking well maybe it would be good then i found it hard to get myself to read it. I’m so happy i did cause that is one my favorite books now. I hope that you write a book that explains what happens to Hazel and everyone around her. I just find it wierd that every book i read the brianna, breanna, and the breona’s are always the mean girls against the main charater. oh i also don’t get why ellen killed brandon it just doesn’t make sence. And if ellen doesn’t get put away in prison she should really consider acting. lol.

I absolutely love this book! It’s now one of my favorites. I couln’t put it down, I read it in one day. I was going crazy because I couldn’t figure out who did it, and I always figure that out when I read mysteries, but this one really had me going. It would great if there was a sequal. Heyy! So I just finished reading Pretty Little Devils. It took me 2 hours! It left me hanging.. Any sequals coming out for it perhaps? && one quick question to help me get to sleep easier..was Ellen the killer? Due to the text message to Hazel how it said something like, oh and she can be your friend && I can’t? Seeing as Hazel basically rejected Ellen as a friend, see how I got that. Haha.

I read this book in one day! I just keep reading it over and over again, it’s a truly amazing book! I’m looking forward to reading your other books!

Hi Nancy! I absolutely loved this book. I started PLD at 12 in the afternoon and finished it at 10 that night. I refused to but the book down. It had my undivided attention
I would absolutely love it if you made a sequel to PLD.

i absoutley love this book! please, please, please, write a sequel! even though we know who the killer is, (Ellen) the sequel would be so good bc she can continue hiding the secret and more people will die..its so good!!!!

OMG!!! I loved this book. It was so intense, I could not put it down. You have to write a series for it, if you don’t i will just die. It was so crazy and twisted that it was different from other novels. At first i thought it would be like the clique by lisi harrison. but i was so wrong. PLEASE WRITE ANOTHER ONE AND A SERIES!!!!!

OMG…. I luv PLD!!! The book had me guessin the entire time & i really lovd the ending. Also the chat rooms and french were AWESOME. It was sucha good horror story as well as teen novel. I saw it sorta as a horror movie in my head, but i cant imagine how you couldnt since they watched horror movies throughout the whole book. I really would LUV a sequel!!!!!! Like maybe Ellen could fullfill her plots that she posted @ da end and at da same time Haze is tryin 2 figure out who it is. LUV U NANCY!!!

i was at the library with my sister recently and we were just browsing thru the teen section and se found this and was like omg this is such a play off of the books Pretty Little Liars so i was like uhhh get it then! because i have read most of them and they are amazing… i was expecting this to be like them but it really wasnt it was unique and i know this sounds sick but i liked how the caharacters acutally died not just were threatened by stupid gossip.
pleeeeeeeease write a sequal im hanging!!!

hey nancy i was just writing to say…
first of all this book was one of those books u dont normally see with like 20 copies on the shelf @ borders. i thought it looked like a book i have never read before and i also needed a little pizzaz to my books so i got it. the moment i started to read and go to the first murder i loved <3 it. so i did my power point pres. in front of my class and now all the girls are reading it. it is like bigger then the twilight sensation. so now i write to u in hope u will write a sequel so i dont have to keep reading the pretty little liers series.

I enjoyed the motif you had for PLD. The suspense in this book was perfect, just like Stephen’s King Misery, nothing else I’ve read has made me spooked out. With the vivid images and the wording in my head playing over and over it was a thriller, hands down. This suspenseful book is now one of my favorites.

I finished PLD’s last night. and I started it yesterday! It was an amazing book. I think it would be amazing if you wrote a sequel. You left the ending perfect for one. And plenty of characters left to! If you would like to write a sequel when will you decide for sure if you will write an addition to it?! I will most definitely check out “Possessions”
