Miracles
Today was the first day of Girl Scout cookie sales. Competition is fierce in our area of San Diego. We are part of the largest service unit–biggest number of girls–and there are only so many doorbells to be rung.
Belle sold ten boxes of cookies to two women sitting in a car.
After a long day at the computer, I made my writing quota.
And my friend Lisa had her baby.
Life is good.

My sincere thanks to everyone who showed up at the Borders booksigning for Belle and me. We had a great time, hosted by Rob Crowther, a fellow writer who also works at the store.
I received a box of books from the Romance Writers of America today; I’m a judge in the preliminary round for the RITA award. I can’t wait to dig in!
