I spent Saturday night at a bed and breakfast in Julian, reading and writing, and eating lots of great Italian food. My B&B hosted a tea on Saturday afternoon, after which I read in the courtyard, then read some more in my room. I didn’t quite get everything done, but it was a good break. I have decided to set a new book I’m working on in Julian, which will (of course!) necessitate at least two or three more research trips.
