I want to thank everyone who has emailed me to ask me about 1) more Pretty Little Devils novels 2) the status of the next WICKED book and 3) what is up with DAUGHTER OF THE BLOOD. There is progress and I hope to have some announcements soon. I am playing catch up with responses to emails, in part due to the death of my daughter’s best friend’s grandpa. We have been trying to spend a lot of time together.
I will be teaching at the Stonecoast MFA in Creative Writing Low-Residency Program from July 11 through July 16. This will be my first trip to Maine and I’m looking forward to it. I hope to be caught up a couple of weeks after I return, and I will answer your kind emails then.
On June 29, Fred Saberhagen died. He was a wonderful writer; I loved THE DRACULA TAPE, in which Dracula presents his side of the story, pointing out the many inaccuracies and inconsistencies in Stoker’s novel. It was so wonderful that I wrote him a fan letter. I also chastised his publisher for printing an order blank for more novels on the back of the last page of the book. Cheeky college kid!
I didn’t know Fred well, but I had begun to know him a little, and his wife Joan. I’m very sorry that he’s gone.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re friend “Left” you. But i hope that you can live you’re life and peace. Still no News about Wicked 3 huh? Well I’ll wait as long as it takes until i can read it. Wicked is a wonderful series and i have to thank my friend for recommending it. It was very tough for me to read Wicked, and Wicked 2 over Harry Potter 7. But i did and i DO NOT regret it IN THE LEAST!

Wicked is definetly one of my favorite series! i just picked it up one day along with the Sweep series and i now absoloutely love both!

Please keep the Wicked series going. I am absoulutly in thrall with those books and after reading the comments above, i know that a whole lot of others are as well. I can wait as long as it takes for it to come out, all i need to know for sure is that it does. Please, not knowing about Jer and Holly and that Alex is not who he says he is, is practically eating me on the inside. Thank You.
